Bello says tribunal verdict divine
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has described his victory in the first round of the tribunal judgment delivered yesterday among the array of litigations against his emergence as governor as having divine undertone.
The governor, who was reacting to the judgment of the tribunal delivered yesterday in Abuja that dismissed the case of James Abiodun Faleke against his emergence as the governor of Kogi State, also described the victory as victory for democracy.
He said: “It is a victory within the APC family where both of us in the legal battle belong. I see James Abiodun Faleke as a brother. He should rather come and join me and give useful advice on how the state can be moved to the next level.”
He reiterated his readiness to fulfill the mandate given him by the people of the state.
Bello appealed to the people of the state to exercise patience with him in meeting their yearnings and aspirations.
