Beautified Network holds third conference on women empowerment, mentoring

Beautified Network has concluded arrangements to hold its third yearly conference tagged Becoming.

The one-day event, which empowers and mentors women between the ages of 18 and 35 to discover and live their potential to the fullest as well as contribute their quota to social change and the world at large, holds on July 17, 2017 at Naval Dockyard Conference Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Speakers, including star photographer and singer, TY Bello; CEO, Sixth Sense Interiors, Tope Olagbegi and CEO, Bubez Foods Ijeoma Ndukwe; are to mount the podium on the occasion where women from all walks of life are to brainstorm on matters pertaining to the transformation of the womenfolk.

Also to speak at the august gathering are television presenter and actress, Michelle Dede as well as youth pastor and human resource consultant/CEO, Jeno Management Solutions, Eno Jerry.

The meeting will equally feature a girl-child discussion, “The woman breadwinner”, to be moderated by a panel consisting of founder, Leading Ladies Africa, Francesca Uriri; founder, Her Network, Nkem Onwudiwe; her Have you Eaten Foundation counterpart, Laju Iren and convener, TEDx Gbagada, Mercy Akano.

“I am passionate about inspiring and empowering women to live up to their full potential and there is no better time for women to rise up and become all they were created to be in their quest for solutions to the various problems in our society and the world at large,” the event’s convener, Funto Ibuoye, remarked.

Ibuoye, a motivational speaker, author, interior designer and chartered accountant, holds that the empowered woman is one of the greatest assets of a thriving society and nation.
