Senator Ali Wakili representing Bauchi South at the National Assembly has disclosed that Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar is not ready for reconciliation with the Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and other NASS Members from the state.

Briefing newsmen yesterday at his resident in Bauchi, Wakili said that he was disappointed with the way and manner the governor is handling the issue, adding that Abubakar never honours his words.

The rift started when the governor directed members of the National Assembly not to support Dogara in his desire for the position of speaker and this has since escalated.

According to him, Abubakar’s aides use provocative words in front of him, adding that recently, the governor said that he was ready to reconcile with them but on the condition that they should all accept that he is their leader in the state.

He said that he expected someone like Abubakar who is a lawyer and has worked in the House of Assembly to be able to demarcate between the work of the legislature and executive and stop challenging them unnecessarily.
