Bauchi State finance commissioner Nura Manu Soro said he has resigned his appointment as member of Bauchi Executive Council on Wednesday.

Soro was sworn in alongside other 19 commissioners on September 11.

His resignation comes 35 days after Bauchi state governor Bala Mohammed inaugurated the newly appointed 20 commissioners as members of the State Executive Council (SEC).

While inaugurating the new SEC, the governor tasked Soro and other commissioners to set machinery in motion to flush out all ghost workers on salary payrolls in the state.
