Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency, Femi Bamisile, has implored Nigerians to continue to pray for peace, harmony and oneness of Nigeria.

Bamisile made the call in a goodwill message to Muslims across the country to mark the end of this year’s Ramadan period.

According to him, Nigeria needs more prayers now than ever before, hence the need for all spiritual leaders and followers to re-dedicate themselves in prayers to overcome all the odds confronting the country.

He expressed displeasure over the current security challenges in some parts of Nigeria and called for a more holistic approach from the security agencies in the country to stem the tide.

The federal lawmaker, representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, however, expressed optimism that with fervent prayers and support of all, Nigeria would soon overcome its current challenges.

While congratulating all Muslims in Ekiti State, especially his constituency, Bamisile commended them for supporting the current administration in Nigeria, especially in Ekiti State.

He charged them to sustain their conducts during the month of Ramadan by living in purity at all times.

This, he said, would further enhance their spiritual life in assisting the society to achieve a sustainable peace.
