Australia, World Bank back FG in mainstreaming gender project

The Australian Government and the World Bank are backing the Federal Government’s move to factor in the unique needs of women and people with special needs in the design of project implementation under the pubic and private partnership (PPP) in the country.

The Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession and Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Chidi Izuwah, dropped the hint at an event preparatory to the inaugural seminar on “Strengthening Women’s Involvement in Public-Private Partnerships (SWIP3]) holding from October 2 to 4, 2019 in Abuja to formulate policies for the mainstreaming of these peculiar needs in infrastructure designs for concessionaires.
