Senior Pastor, Kinsgway International Christian Centre (KICC), Matthew Ashimolowo has called on Nigerians to realise that life is transient and in addition to the fact that every man will give account of his stewardship to God, man would also be remembered for what he lived and stood for after his demise.

Senior Pastor, Kinsgway International Christian Centre (KICC), Matthew Ashimolowo has called on Nigerians to realise that life is transient and in addition to the fact that every man will give account of his stewardship to God, man would also be remembered for what he lived and stood for after his demise.

He gave this admonition yesterday during the final service for the late presiding Archbishop of El-Shaddi Bible Churches world wide, Joseph Olanrewaju Obembe at the Great Grace Cathedral, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Ashimolowo who described Obembe as a clergy who lived a quality life style, manifested excellent character, humble, always searching for the truth, who was never proud of his background and exhibited great commitment to serve the Lord, said death is a passage for those who feared and served the Lord while on earth. He remarked that for those saints who distinguished themselves in a most extra ordinary manner like Obembe, after leaving this world in death, there is no more suffering, sorrow, sickness, separation from loved ones nor death.

CAN Chairman, Lagos State, Alexander Bamgbola described Obembe as a great Pentecostal and Charismatic Christian leader of this generation who served and loved the Lord to the best of his ability. International Communion of Charismatic and Apostolic Ministries Inc. (ICCAM) described Obembe as an epitome of love and care who applied these and demonstrated in his teachings and lifesty

le. Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Most Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins said the consolation of his death was that Jesus would welcome him in to His eternal kingdom, where there will be no more pain, sorrows and all tears will be wiped away.
