Army says Boko Haram has new uniform
Arrests two suspects with new regalia
The authorities of the Nigerian Army yesterday said Boko Haram terrorists have adopted a new uniform as a means of identification for their members. It also said troops arrested two suspected members of the sect wearing the new regalia.
A statement issued yesterday by the Spokesman of the Army, Col. Sani Usman, said troops of 22 Brigade Garrison and elements of 3 Battalion while on fighting patrol on Monday in Gima Village in Ngala Local Council made the discovery that “Boko Haram terrorists now have new means of identification.”
He said the patrol came in contact with some of the elements of the insurgents, who were fleeing in different directions from the approaching troops.
