Army denies alleged mass killings in Plateau
The Nigerian Army yesterday raised the alarm over fake video clips, allegedly depicting mass killings in Plateau State by the service.
It, therefore, warned unsuspecting members of the public to disregard the news.
According to Nigerian Army twitter handle on Saturday, “the video was, however, shot in 2011, 17 years before the recurring insecurity of lives and property in some parts of Plateau.
“The video in circulation is a fake one,” the Army lamented in its twitter handle.
“For clarity, the said video was originally released by #France24 on January 14, 2011.”
