Says Immunity Not As Sacred As Human Lives

Angry women yesterday besieged the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to demand the immediate probe and prosecution of the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose over his involvement in the arms probe deal.

The group said although the Governor enjoys immunity, such shouldn’t apply to human lives.

The angry protesters under the banner of Patriotic Mothers without borders also urged President Buhari to intensify the anti corruption campaign. They said no Nigerian must be spared in the ongoing war.

Carrying various placards with inscriptions such as Fayose must go, he can’t continue to enjoy immunity, he should be treated like Sambo Dasuki among others, the group said the EFCC should be up and doing.

The leader of the group, Nnnenna Jideofor, said, “Fayose and his accomplices have blood on their hands in addition to stealing public funds. They took part in stealing the money meant for buying arms to fight Boko Haram. His collaborators, former minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, Senator Iyiola Omisore and others have returned some money. The gravity of this crime does not permit that we wait indefinitely for Fayose to leave office. He would have finished spending his loot by then.”

“Last year, the EFCC did the right thing when it froze his account with Zenith bank even though some laughable court ruling later unfroze the account. God will visit judgment on corrupt judges that deliver ruling for a bribe but it is the task of the EFCC to fish them out for punishment,” she said.

Spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwagaren, and a staff of the commission, Umaru Mohammed, who received the letter of petition on behalf of the acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu promised to follow it up and ensure that justice is done.

Wary Nigerians will not be taken in by this plot to silence Fayose. He may not be a perfect man but he has certainly stood on the side of his people, especially against Fulani herdsmen. And unfortunately, it is my people from the East of Niger that are being used to prosecute this – Nnnenna Jideofor is their leader.
How come no one is asking Buhari where he got the money for his election campaign? How come no one is asking Amaechi, Tinubu and Fashola questions – at least they have no immunity any longer. Why is Dasuki just being detained without prosecution? Why is Buhari’s SGF acussed of diverting money meant for IDP not being prosecuted or at least sacked?

Be warned! The so called anti-corruption war is a hoax! A tyrant is evolving in PMB!! Christians are being slaughtered all over the country by his kinsmen, Fulani herdsmen, and no one is protesting this. I’m sorry for you guys.

May the good Lord God bless you, my brother – for having the courage to tell the already so many dumb & fooled Nigerians the solemn truth! God bless you. Amen. Ask for that woman, who calls herself “NNenna Jideofor” (***her name doesn’t even sound like an indigene of Ekiti State!!!), she probably one of those Abuja-based “child & women traffickers”, who wants to cover her illegal business to Libya by joining the APC-bandwagon. That’s what most criminals in Nigeria do these these days, in other to be on the safe side from Buhari’s EFCC.

Rented crowd and stage-managed protest by a visible “invisible hands”.Where were they when reports made the rounds of some Buhari henchmen and aides in the presidency who brazenly tampered with public till? Or they were both blind and deaf to the reports that the Rotimi Amaechi,Ogbonna Onu,Babachir Lawal et al,all close associates and principal officers in the Buhari’s government, corruptly enriched themselves from public treasury? Hypocrisy! These two-faced hirelings always ready for “pay-to-play” is the reason Nigeria will never get better. Such a pity!
