Anti-corruption productions to get N2m from USAID, HOMEVIDA
To promote the fight against corruption through the film industry, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with Home Video Integritty Award (HOMVIDA) will reward producers whose scripts address the effect of corrupt practices in the society.
HOMEVIDA Administrator, Samuel Umejiaku, during a press briefing in Abuja to call for nomination and selection, disclosed that N1million each would be given to producers in the category of feature film and documentaries whose productions promote integrity and positive values.
He explained that the theme of the feature film and documentary productions that are eligible for nominations must centre on transparency, accountability, or good governance and produced between 2015 and 2017.
