Forte Oil Plc, one of the foremost indigenous petroleum marketing companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, has announced the appointment of Mr Anil Dua as a Non-Executive Director of the company.

This is contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the company and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

The statement said that prior to his current appointment, Dua was the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank West Africa.

“’He is an astute corporate technocrat, who has held executive positions in the Seychelles International Mercantile Corporation, Afrexim Bank and Standard Chartered Bank, Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana.

“The Board of Directors of Forte Oil is proud to have such a competent and experienced corporate leader as Anil Dua,’’ the statement said.

The company also announced the resignation of Mrs Korede Omoloja, as a director in the company. The board thanked Omoloja for her tenure as director and wished her well in her future endeavours.
