Wife of the Ogun State Governor, Olufunso Amosun, has urged indigenes and residents of the state to support government to provide amenities for the people, especially the less privileged ones.

She made the call in Shagamu while commissioning the free school ride buses donated by the leader of the state House of Assembly, Asiwaju Yinka Mafe, to students in the five local councils that make up the old Remo Division.

The governor’s wife lauded the lawmaker for pledging to also hire the crew and fuel the buses for the use of the students.Mrs. Amosun said it had become necessary for the private sector to support government’s efforts, because the state does not have enough resources to make provision for everyone.

Mafe explained that she donated the buses due to her concern for pupils who trek to and from school everyday even in the rain. The Deputy Speaker of the state assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, wife of the Speaker, Oluwaseun Adekunbi, the Oba of Makun, Emmanuel King and the state Commissioner for Sports, Afolabi Afuwape attended the event.
