Vice Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Professor Ignatius Onimawo, has said the institution will not relent in its effort to sanitise the school, especially with regard to students and lecturers found wanting.

Onimawo said efforts towards boosting infrastructure development, enhance teaching and learning will be given top priority under his management, as no fewer than 33 projects have been initiated most of which were completed in the last three years.

He said cultism was no longer on the university campus adding: “Sometime in the past, cultism was high but such is in the past. We no longer have such cases on this campus and the minor instances are definitely not on the campus here.”

Addressing journalists at Ekpoma yesterday, Onimawo disclosed that the University has received funding from High Impact Intervention Fund of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), N740 million NEEDS Assessment Fund, among others.
