ALMPO holds maiden conference on mobile payment

The Association of Licensed Mobile Payment Operators (ALMPO), a platform for all Mobile Money Operators in Nigeria is set to hold her maiden conference.

The maiden conference with the theme “Mobile Money as a key driver to achieving the 2020 financial inclusion target” would hold on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Four Points by Sheraton.

According to the body’s chairperson, Chinedu Onuoha, the main objective of the summit is to strategise, create, influence and shape policies, government’s legislations and build standards within frameworks that will provide sustainability and growth to the Mobile Money environment, thereby contributing to economic growth. Guest speaker at the event is Ayo Teriba, an economist.
