Prof. Joseph Alakali has emerged the Senatorial Candidate of the National Conscience Party (NCP) for Benue North East District.
Alakali was declared winner of the primaries conducted in Makurdi through affirmative voice vote.
In his acceptance speech, Alakali said: ‘‘We are committed to the party’s ideology and will work towards eradicating poverty in the land by penetrating the grass roots.”
Also, Mr. Emmanuel Ikyoga who emerged the winner of the Kwande West State Assembly said NCP was the only party committed to eradicating poverty.
