Akeredolu seeks priority attention for children
Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has said that it is time for government to interface with children directly instead of merely talking about them.
He said often times, people talk about children being the future of tomorrow without taking into cognisance the need to involve them in the conversation.
The governor said this yesterday in Akure when the Children Management Committee of the Ondo State Radio Vision Corporation (OSRC) and Orange 94.5 FM paid a courtesy visit to his office as part of activities to mark the 2018 Universal Children’s Day.
He said priority attention should be given to children in view of their importance to the nation and the future of the society.
