Air Peace, one of the new airlines in the domestic scene, on Monday said that the airline would be able to meet its flight obligations and enhance services with its acquisition of two new Boeing 737-300 aircraft.

Mr Allen Onyema, the Chairman of the airline said this while taking delivery of the aircraft at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, (MMIA) Lagos.

Onyema said this would help in reducing flight cancellations and delays at the airport but, rather, enhanced service efficiency.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the new acquisition brings to six the number of Boeing aircraft on its fleet.

Onyema said the acquisition was a direct response to the yearnings of passengers to serve them on many routes.

He said with it would help the airline to expand its flight operations with two

“This is not just for acquisition stage, but part of our strategic plan to boost our operations on all sectors of our flight.

“This acquisition is a response to the yearnings from the customers for Air Peace to come on stage and service many routes, where other carriers have not been doing well.

“So many routes and locations are asking for Air Peace to please service them. What we have done is just a response to these yearnings,’’ Onyema said.

He also disclosed that the airline would soon resume operations in the Port Harcourt route.
