AAUA exceptional students receive smartphones as reward

For performing excellently well in their examinations, five students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) have been rewarded by telecommunications firm with brand new smartphones and a year subscription.

For performing excellently well in their examinations, five students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) have been rewarded by telecommunications firm with brand new smartphones and a year subscription.

The ceremony, held at the Nelson Mandela hall of the school, was organised to encourage the students to work harder.

The students with the best Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) were Ajomole Olamide Christianah from faculty of agriculture; Omotunde Samuel Segun from the faculty of education; Olumiluyi Taiwo Samuel, faculty of science; Teslim Oluwafemi and Joshua Inioluwa from the faculty of art

A representative of the company, Mr. Busayo Egundari, informed the students of the firm’s plan to build a new network service mast in the school premises to boost the network connections on campus.

Speaking on behalf of the awardees, advised his fellow students to keep faith in God and work harder.
