Peter “Mr P” Okoye Joins Empire Record Label
One half of the former music duo P-Square, Mr P, has signed a partnership deal with Empire, an American distribution company and record label based in San Fransisco, California.
Empire has worked with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, Tyga, Shaggy, Remy Ma and so on.
Peter Okoye, who now goes by the stage name Mr P, shared the news on his Instagram page.
Empire also shared it on their official Instagram page.
Peter shared the image with the caption:
“Thank you Lordđđ˝đ RepostBy @empire: “Just had a digital distribution deal with @peterpsquare! Welcome to the #EMPIRE family!” (via #WhizRepost @AppsKottage)”
Empire also welcomed him into the family with the caption:
“Welcome to the #EMPIRE family @peterpsquare! Thank you for @kingkanja for the introduction & partnership!”
Fans are still heartbroken over the P-Square split and some hoped that it was a publicity stunt before the release of new music from the duo. But this is one nail into the coffin that is the group of two.
