Vanessa Bryant turned 38 yesterday and to celebrate adding another year, she opened the last love letter from her late husband Kobe Bryant.

The letter which the late Kobe addressed to ‘the love of my life’ was an emotional one and Vanessa shared a pic of the note, which was tucked inside a yellow envelope.

In her caption of the letter, she said she found the letter and waited to open it on her birthday because it gave her something to look forward to.

She wrote:

“Yesterday I found an envelope labelled To: The Love of my Life. From, Tu Papi.

“I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today.”

Vanessa continued:

“The irony is that Kobe had a photo of me drawn with an Angel holding me up by an artist on the cover.

“Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita – my fellow Taurus.”

This is not the first time that Vanessa is writing an emotional post about her late husband who died alongside their daughter Gianna and seven others in a helicopter crash on January 26.

In an Instagram post made on Wednesday, January 29, the 37-year-old widow broke her silence saying that there “aren’t enough words to describe” the turmoil felt following the sudden loss of her “adoring husband Kobe”  and their daughter Gianna.

Yet to get over her loss, Vanessa in February shared another post to pay tribute to her late husband whom she refers to as the “best daddy”, her “best friend” and “loving husband”.

She shared a smiling photo of him and wrote:

“#mybestfriend #thebestdaddy Miss you so much. #handsome #sweet #funny #silly #lovinghusband Miss you saying “Bonjourno principessa/reina.”

On April 13, she celebrated her late husband once again in commemoration of “Mamba Day.”

Bryant played his final NBA game against the Utah Jazz on April 13, 2016, and since then, the day has been marked special by basketball lovers.

She shared a video of Bryant’s stunning last game where he dropped 60 points in his last game on an NBA court.

In her caption about the video, she talked about his work ethic, family life, and how his untimely death is just simply not fair.
