Watch: Cardi B Gifts Mum A N217.6 Million House

Many children have the dream of buying their parents a house and female rapping sensation, Cardi B can now comfortably tick that off her childhood dream.

The I Like It rapper has gifted her mum a brand new house while revealing that this was a “childhood dream” she has had for years.

In a video clip, she posted on her Instagram page, the award-winning mother of one also said it was the happiest day of her life as she gave fans a video tour of the property in her home state of New York.

Cardi B who was brought up in the Bronx admitted she was “emotional” and had been crying as she walked fans through the mansion, which features its own gym.

“I worked and worked and now I’m here! Thank you, everybody, who supported me to make my childhood dreams come true!” Cardi continued. “Buy my momma a house!….. don’t ask me for s**t motherf**kers. I got big girls bills.”

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker said she started house hunting last year but could only afford homes in the range of N217,632,000 ($600,000) at the time and they did not come anywhere close to meeting her expectations.

It would be recalled that Cardi B predicted this moment in her song Everything. In the song’s outro, she says,

“You know when I was a little girl I used to tell my mom, ‘Hey mom, when I grow up, I’m gonna buy you a house, I’m gonna buy you a car. Until I turned eighteen, it’s like damn, I can’t even get me my own apartment.”
