Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia better known by his stage name, 2Face or 2Baba has shared his two cents with Nigerian youths ahead of the forthcoming 2019 elections.

The legendary singer in his advice called on Nigerian youths to be actively involved in the conduct of the 2019 presidential election.

The award-winning entertainer further asked the youths to shun vote buying during the elections and avoid selling their future to leaders who had false agenda for the nation.

He said,

“Youths say no to politicians who offer you money to perpetuate violence or sell your votes. When two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.

Before the elections, you must constructively participate in the electoral process.

Say no to politicians who offer you money to perpetuate violence or sell your votes.

When two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers. Every young person has a bright future ahead of them and should not allow anyone take that away from them in the name of politics or elections.

“Do not sell your votes. Selling your votes is selling your future”.

He shared these words of wisdom yesterday, December 12 during a gathering of youth organisations at the 2019 General Elections’ National Peace Conference in Abuja.

It would be recalled that the “Amaka” hit maker appeared to take swipes at the Nigerian government recently when he paid a visit to Ghana and was impressed by the country’s international airport. He promptly made a video to show the site and in his words,

“You dey see level abi? Shame no they catch some people for that side.”
