Toyin Abraham Responds To Dating Yemi Osinbajo Rumours

Every now and then, the grapevine is saturated with rumours about a celebrity especially the females being involved with someone they shouldn’t be.

Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham is not any different as she has been linked with the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo in recent times.

The talks of a romantic affair between the duo started when the screen star was spotted with the prominent politician at some public events. The rumourmongers were quick to spread the gist that the divorced actress is possibly romantically involved with the married vice president.

However, Abraham has shut down the rumours in an Instagram comment. This was coming after a fan asked her if she was involved with Osinbajo who is married. In an Instagram post, Abraham had congratulated Osinbajo for narrowly escaping death when a helicopter conveying him crash-landed. In the comment section of the post, the inquisitive fan then asked if she was dating Osinbajo.

The award-winning Abraham screen star responded saying that money is not her driving force when going into a relationship. She went on to add that she is a hardworking woman who is contented with her own wealth. She replied,

“Ask around, I don’t date for money, I date for love.”

It would be recalled that Abraham split from fellow Nollywood star, Adeniyi Johnson on grounds of infidelity. Refusing to take Johnson back, she went on to date filmmaker Seun Egbegbe but that relationship soon crashed as well. Recently, Abraham was rumoured to be engaged to a lawyer but a follow-up report stated that the engagement has been called off.
