On Friday 30 November 2018, the Enugu’s first ever TEDxNzaStreet event will take place at VeeAiPee Events Center, 15 Uduma Street, New Haven, Enugu State, Nigeria. The TEDx movement has found its way to different parts of Nigeria and this movement inspired the organizers and licensees of TEDxNzaStreet.

The inaugural event will explore the theme of ‘Divergent Thinking’ through a series of 11 incredible talks and 2 phenomenal performances delivered by some of our most epic leaders and civic change makers.

Guided by the theory proposed by the mid-twentieth century psychologist, JP Guilford-divergent thinking is the ability to generate many ideas or solutions from a single idea or piece of information. We hope that this maiden TEDx event serves as a catalyst for the spreading and generation of ideas in our local community. Our aim is to shift the mindsets of participants to think in line with the fast paced nature of global systems and challenge themselves to play active roles in shaping their community. Here are some of the speakers: Prof. Peter Ebigbo, Mark Okoye, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Amarachi Attamah, Gloria Ukata, Festus Adibe, H.E Sullivan Chime, Samson Itodo, Myles Igwebuike and Chinedu Chukwuelue.
