Malta is the largest island in the Meditteranean. It is well known among the Christians as the island Apostle Paul visited in 60 A.D. when the ship he was on as a prisoner on his way to Rome got shipwrecked.

St Peter’s Pool
Take a splash in the natural pool located near Marsaxlokk Bay at the tip of Delimara Point in the south-west. It is one of the most beautiful and crystal clear azure and light green colour, waters in Malta.
Fortification of Mdina
The Mdina walls were named after the former capital of Malta. These walls guarded the former capital of Malta. It was called Maleth by the Phoenicians who founded it in 8th century BC. Since then, it has undergone several destructions and rebuildings. It became recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1998.
Hypogeum of Ħal-Saflieni
The Hypogeum of Ħal-Saflieni is found in Paola. It is said that it used to be a sanctuary around 3300-3000 BC. It is here that the “Sleeping Lady”, amulets and carved human images were discovered. Only 80 people are allowed to take a tour in the sanctuary on a daily basis.
Calypso’s Cave
If you are a fan of The Odyssey written by Homer, then you can come in touch in a cave he mentioned about 750-650 B.C. This cave still maintains its beauty.
Azure Window
This window is also known as Dwejra Window. Well before its collapse in March last year, it stood as a tourist attraction on the island of Gozo. It has also been featured in films such as Game of Thrones, Clash of the Titans and The Count of Monte Cristo. Divers still have the opportunity to see the large white stones.
