High fashion brands like Balenciaga and Calvin Klein sent their models strutting down the runway in oversized coats and this further validated the trend and boosted morale because fashion models were pulling it off.

Artistes like Rihanna further made the look accepted because she was ‘serving looks’ is oversized clothes.

Scrolling through Instagram you’d think there was a giveaway you weren’t invited to because everyone seemed to have one. This was because both high fashion brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton and sports brands like Nike and Fila all had shoes in that design so everyone ranging from the big spenders to the average fashionable person could cop a pair.
