Ever wondered how you could achieve a flawless curly hairstyle without adding heat to your hair to prevent it from damage? Or perhaps you just don’t know how to manoeuvre those curling wand tools? It may even be that you afraid of getting burnt if the tools are not held correctly.

Well, Flexi rods are to the rescue and within hours you could achieve those bouncy effortless curls that could last for days with no heat at all but still have that stunning look that makes you stand out from the crowd.

What do you need

  • Flexi rods
  • Spray bottle
  • Styling creme

Here is how it is done.

Use a tiny amount of a styling creme of your choice, with a spritz of water on each hair section you are wrapping around the Flexi rods to smooth your hair and avoid flaking.

Ensure you take small sections of hair for each Flexi rod and make them all even for a more desirable look.

Comb each section while wrapping your hair flat around the rod. This allows you to smooth it out to have beautiful spiral curls at the end.

This is a perfect way of creating a stunning image without having to use heat or any other things that can damage your hair structure.

Aftercare

A lot of people use a loose satin bonnet or a satin pillowcase and fluff and shape in the morning.

  • Wear a shower cap while bathing and stay out of the bathroom or either wear the cap until all moisture is out of it.
  • Rub a little oil in your hands and scrunch into the curls for a little sheen every 3-4 days but NO water based moisturisers – they will swell and frizz your hair.
  • After a while, you can separate your hair more but it is not recommended at first because you want to be able to get the most wear out of your hair is possible.
  • Separating too much will make the curl frizzier; the foundation will be weaker and easier to wear out after sleeping, exercising, etc.
