The billionaire heiress quoted Marilyn Monroe to address her split by posting a GIF of herself styled like Monroe with starry effects, affixing the sentiment from the Hollywood icon.
“My favorite Marilyn Monroe quote,’ she wrote: ‘I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right.”
The quote hinted at possible trust issues in the relationship, as it continued,
“You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself. And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
The Stars Are Blind singer made a statement that life goes on, as she followed up with a promotional plug for an appearance she’s set to make today at the Dubai Festival City Mall.
Hilton is not new to calling off engagements as she was previously engaged to Paris Latsis in 2005 before calling it off. She was also reportedly engaged to Jason Shaw in 2002.
