OAP Tosyn Bucknor Has Passed Away

On Air Personality Tosyn Bucknor has reportedly passed away. Bucknor was an OAP and an actress who featured in Tinsel.

According to reports she passed away on 19 November and cause of death is unknown. Fans and friends are expressing their shock and condolences at the shocking news via social media.

Fondly referred to as Area Mama, the graduate of the University of Lagos worked with Top Radio for 7 years before joining Inspiration FM.

Her death is coming one year after the death of her dad, Segun Bucknor. The late Tosyn Bucknor is one of the daughters of late Segun Bucknor, a late Nigerian musician and journalist active during the 1960s and 1970s.

Asides being an On-Air-Personality, she was also an actress, radio presenter, singer, songwriter, and writer and has featured in soaps like, Now We Are Married, Tinsel and a couple of others.

In her lifetime, she won several awards including the Nigerian Broadcaster’s award, Future Awards, Exquisite Lady of the Year among others.

She was 37 years old.
