In the wake of the recent backlash that trailed the advice of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye that men should not marry a woman that can’t cook. Nigerian singer Jaywon has also shared his two cents.

Pastor Adeboye will be 78 in March and ahead of the celebration, he is sharing seventy-eight quotes of inspiration and advice. The quote about cooking and marriage is the 19th quote.

The “Aje” crooner took to his Instagram page to share his thoughts on the matter reiterating Adeboye’s advice.

In a post he made on his page, Jaywon is of the opinion that many men cannot proudly say that their wives don’t know how to cook or take care of the house.

He goes on to add that “a real hustler will provide for his family and even employ maid and cook” but that he being a proud Africa of Yoruba heritage, his wife must know how to cook even if she won’t cook all the time.

Jaywon in his post also took a swipe at young women whom he says are busy complaining that men should also cook while the wise ones among them who don’t know how to cook are already finding their way to the kitchen to get better.

In January 2019, Jaywon came under criticism from Americans when in a birthday wish to disgraced singer R. Kelly, Jaywon refered to the latter as a king.

There has been a lot of controversies surrounding R.Kelly since the airing of the docuseries Surviving R.Kelly a series which had alleged victims of his paedophilia acts and his alleged sex cult speak out.
