Kanye West has revealed that he and Jay-Z will be releasing Watch The Throne 2. Ye sent out a tweet which simply said, “[T]hrone2 coming soon.”

Although it doesn’t reveal much, going by his past reveals on the social media platform we might actually see a sequel to the collaborative studio album that took over the music world seven years ago.
In recent years, West and Jay-Z have had a controversial relationship. In 2016, West even went on a rant where he called out his fellow rapper and wife Beyoncé for not taking his calls. He also claimes that “there will never be a Watch the Throne 2” while on tour for the album The Life of Pablo, blaming Apple Music and Tidal for the feud. Jay-Z, in 2017, also addressed their feud on his record 4:44.
However, Jay-Z is credited on Pusha-T’s Daytona, which was produced by West, as a composer and lyricist for the tracks The Games We Play and Infrared. The two last collaborated on Drake’s 2016 song Pop Style.
