The Golden Globes 2018 with the #metoo movement had everyone wearing black. The styles were more focused on the cause and less about being flashy. In turn, so did the makeup looks.

In honour of the Golden Globes Awards, here are some makeup tips.

1. The Easy Breezy Look:

The makeup looks most stars wore were quite minimal – or at least it seemed that way. Nude palettes were used to create fresh, vibrant looks that elevated the face without pulling focus.

2. Red Lips:

Pull all the focus to your lips with red lipstick. There is something sensual yet strong about red lips. Go light with the rest of the face and draw all the attention to your lips.

3. Minimal Eyeshadow

Going minimal in this case simply means: to make it appear minimal. Stick to shades close to your skin tone, but don’t skip out on it entirely, eyeshadows close to your skin tone make you look more awake and bright.
