Guess it is not only in Nigeria that animals determine if humans stay in a location or not. A police station was closed until further notice in northeastern Paris after it was invaded by the blood-sucking fleas. In a fit of pique on Twitter, the Alliance police union said the station had been invaded by the blood-sucking pests, “making working conditions INTOLERABLE!!!”

Despite pest control efforts, the problem, which first surfaced three weeks ago, had not been eradicated with officers itching like crazy after suffering multiple bites and even biting their children.

The problem with streaming numbers

Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy came under attack after he shared another unpopular opinion, this time about overrated artists and streaming numbers. Shortly after DMW’s Mayorkun celebrated
his 70 million streams on his solo album The Mayor of Lagos, Burna wrote on Instagram, “This
Streaming Shit be making people think they’re Talented. If joke things like “Baby Shark” and
“Gangnam style” can do more numbers than Everyone, Don’t think you are Talented or Respected cuz of your Streaming numbers. Everyone with real working brains knows What is a Joke and what is real. Anyway, plenty talk no Dey full basket. Let Time reveal All.”

Popular South African singer, Babes Wodumo, has sparked outrage and disapproval from fans following her reconciliation with her abusive boyfriend, DJ Mampintsha who, an Instagram Live video, exposed as being abusive when he was caught on tape hitting her. The video sparked widespread rage as fans called for his arrest and prosecution. However, in a turn of events, Wodumo has not only reconciled with him but also announced they have a song together. Wodumo also made light of her abuse when she joked about how he beat her while he was on IG live in March 2019.
