If you’ve been keeping up with the news and social media posts for the past few weeks, you may have come across John Boyega having fun on his visit to Nigeria.

The movie star is popular for his roles in the Star Wars franchise, the recently-released Pacific Rim: Uprising and the movie adaptation of best-selling author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Half of a Yellow Sun.

At the beginning, Boyega did not know the trajectory his career would take. The future was hazy and success was not guaranteed. But he was willing to put in the hard work.

“It’s something I hoped for and imagined several times, but I didn’t exactly know when or how it was going to happen. I think I was just willing to do the work and to put the work in.”

For someone as successful as today’s cover star has been in such a short amount of time, it leaves one to wonder what little actions they take that, perhaps, are necessary for successful people. This led us to John Boyega what three things he does when he wakes up.
