2018 has been a great year for the American rapper. J. Cole latest album titled KOD has officially reached platinum status with no features from any artists.

The KOD album was released in April 2018  with one million in U.S. sales by the Recording Industry Association of America on the 5th of December.

However, the album was certified gold on the 14th of May, 2018. KOD also broke streaming records on both  Apple Music and Spotify with over one billion streams combined.

J.Cole addressed critical issues like drug addiction and the state of today’s hip-hop culture in the album which got him good reviews.

Rich The Kid recently confirmed that J. Cole might appear on his second album The World Is Your 2, which is set to come out in January 2019.
