J. Cole Teases New Album “The Fall Off”

American rapper J. Cole is set to release a new album “The Fall Off” in 2020.

J. Cole made the announcement during his headlining performance at the Day N Vegas festival in Las Vegas on Friday.

The upcoming album was announced via a parody presidential campaign video which began with footage of police, protestors, and lawmakers, before transitioning to clips and photos of Cole overlaid with a waving American flag.

“A man whose humility knows no bounds,” the narrator says over clips of the rapper and corresponding visuals.

“A man whose pen is so potent, each word of his verses reportedly cost $2,000. We need someone with big ideas and bold solutions. An expert in diplomacy. A candidate that can heal the inter-generational war.”

The video ends with:

“There’s only one answer, one true unifier to our country. Make your votes heard and vote for The Fall Off in 2020.”

“The Fall Off” will be J. Cole’s sixth studio album, a follow up to the critically acclaimed 2018 album “KOD” which explored a variety of topics including drug abuse, addiction, depression, greed, African-American culture, and taxation in the United States.
