Never heard of a corn cocktail? Well, this is about to be fun. It’s corn season and our best bet is you have been tempted not once, not twice to try boiled or roasted corn with coconuts, pears, you name it. Well, thought of strawberries with corn? Your cocktail just got better.
Ingredients
1 cup of fresh sweet corn kernels
2 strawberries (this is to ensure that the strawberries is not too much to drown out the taste of the corn)
1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
3 ounces White rum
1 ounce simple syrup
1 whole strawberry for garnish
Ice
Method
In a mixing glass, muddle the strawberries, corn kernels, simply syrup and lime juice until it takes a smooth form or is broken.
Add the rum.
Fill the glass with ice and shake for 25 seconds.
Double strain into another glass. Add your strawberry garnish.
