If you are reading this article, it’s probably because you are tired of the single life. However, you need to understand one fundamental truth about love, love is not a feeling but a choice.
To help you find love this season, here are some conscious steps you can take towards finding that special someone.

Socialise

Chances of finding love without socialising are slim, so make time to meet people and engage in conversations rather than keep to yourself. Go out on dates!

Stay connected with family and friends

We tend to forget that our immediate platonic friends know us best and can serve as good matchmakers.
Make plans with the oldies but goodies in your life. Don’t be shy about telling people in your circle that you want to be in a significant relationship.

Organise yourself

As we draw near to the end of the year, now is a good time to clean up the physical and emotional clutter in your life. Cleanse yourself of the excess baggage, just like you carve out hours for work, meetings and appointments, plan time dedicated to building your love life.

This is the perfect time of the year to make a fresh start. Take advantage of the positivity surrounding getting into a new year. This positive attitude will set you on the path towards finding and starting new relationships.

Treat yourself

Now is the best time to indulge yourself by investing in yourself. Taking time for yourself will give you a better outlook moving forward and the confidence that you exude means everything.

Break the routine

Humans are creatures of habit but now is a good time to break free of doing the same things and try some new things and become more adventurous.
