More often than not, most people choose not to be friends with their exes but this rule doesn’t apply to Tennis champion, Serena Williams as she is still very good friends with her rapper/actor ex, Common.
The friendly duo spoke on stage in front on fans about philanthropy, activism and entrepreneurship at Lyric Opera Of Chicago earlier this week.
The pair has remained good friends since their breakup with Common frequently taking to social media to congratulate the athlete on her wins.
Back in 2015, the Smallfoot star opened up about their breakup on The Meredith Viera Show and confessed they had made a conscious effort to remain friends.
“I have to say not every one of my ex-girlfriends are still friends but with some I am,” he explained.
Williams is now married to Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian whom she got married to in 2017 and the two have a daughter together.
