When you have bad breath and you have tried all things necessary or you do not know what you can use to easily battle this before you see your dentist, there are certain home remedies that are useful for this and they are below:

Lemon juice

The citric acid present in lemon stimulates saliva, and this helps fix bad breath, so, you can chew on a lemon or orange juice to freshen your breath. Also, you can also make a lemon rinse by adding a tablespoon of lemon juice to one cup of water and rinsing your mouth with it.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is useful for a lot of things and most people use it for weight-loss, this vinegar is also very useful in combating bad breath. Apple cider vinegar is great at balancing pH levels which makes it effective at remedying bad breath. Take a tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar and after adding it to a glass of water, drink the solution before taking meals. This will do great for your digestion and treat bad breath. Alternatively, you can add some apple cider vinegar to a cup of water and gargle.

Baking soda

This can be used to make an alcohol free mouthwash. You can simply add baking powder in warm water with a drop of peppermint essential oil and rinse the mouth with it. Peppermint essential oil have antimicrobial properties which is helpful in combatting mouth odour.

Water

Yes, water is also very important. Apart from taking water to ensure perfect health, you can also use it to remedy your bad breath. Swish cold water around your mouth every now and then. This is especially effective in getting rid of morning breath.  Also, taking water often will help to ensure the mouth is not dry, which helps to prevent bad breath.
