Seyi Shay, Nigerian talented songstress, has made a dramatic entry into the Nigerian movie industry with her forthcoming film, #LaraAndTheBeat.
The film, which was produced by Biola Alabi, takes us into the world of Lara Giwa, a diva with different shades of grey and her sister, Dara Giwa (Somkele Idhalama) who are entangled in a financial mess with their deceased parents’ Media Empire. The sisters must learn to leave behind the past glory and build their future through music and enterprise.
The movie also stars Nigerian rapper Vector who plays the role of Sal ‘Mr Beats’ Gomes.

The film is billed to be out in May and will be available in theatres and on Netflix.
