Join The Movement In Raising Confident Girls

Last year Raising Confident Girls movement, an initiative by Majestically Rare, held a Christmas Tea Party for girls between the ages of 9 to 14 years of age at Teeky Arena & Events. This time around we are hosting an event for our members on February 6th 2016 at the same venue.

The theme is ‘’Falling in love with our Girls Again’’. The summit will give as many members a chance to meet and greet, discuss the issues facing our daughters in the 21st century and come up with solutions. It’s not all serious. We plan to have fun too.

The Host for this event is RiRi Okoye, CEO Majestically Rare Events. Fantastic speakers have been lined up including Yinka Enahoro, Speaker/Counsellor, (Jewelled Butterflies for Girls), Chinyere Anokwuru ; Author, speaker and women empowerment coach (SelfWorth for Women), Adaeze Adophy – Author, Life Coach and Facilitator (SPICY Chrysalis Coaching Services ). They are all members of Raising Confident Girls Facebook group.

This event is for any lady in this group irrespective of whether she is a parent or not but who is passionate about raising confident girls and boys. There are plans to hold subsequent events elsewhere but we are starting in Lagos.

About Raising Confident Girls

Raising Confident Girls is a corporate social responsibility initiative founded by Majestically Rare Limited. The founder and CEO, Mrs RiRi (Rita) Okoye decided to create a Facebook group in September 2014 to support the initiative that was already on the field.
Raising Confident Girls facebook group has become a valuable resource and is growing rapidly with over 8000 members. It is administered by RiRi Okoye, Ladi Di, Damie Onasanya and Yinka Enahoro

We are a movement that is passionate about Raising Confident Girls. We know that there are several issues with raising girls in the 21st century and our desire is to provide support and solutions to the challenges. By engaging in discussions and providing useful tips, we can all benefit from and transfer our learning to girls in our communities, whether they are our daughters, nieces, god daughters, granddaughters, students etc.
