Is "Episode Nine" of "Game of Throne's" "Season Six" the best episode yet? People actually think it is. Episode Nine of each season of Game of Thrones (GOT) is always huge anyways, but “The Battle of the Bastards” was epic and big in a way that only Game of Thrones as a whole can be…

Is “Episode Nine” of “Game of Throne’s” “Season Six” the best episode yet? People actually think it is. Episode Nine of each season of Game of Thrones (GOT) is always huge anyways, but “The Battle of the Bastards” was epic and big in a way that only Game of Thrones as a whole can be perceived.

It’s less epic in its scope than, say, Season Four’s battle between the Night’s Watch and Wildlings, “The Watchers on the Wall” (an episode I find touchy)…

but compare it to season two’s “Blackwater” (featuring the battle for King’s Landing) and it’s easy to see just how much the movie’s scope has increased.

In this episode 9, the titular bastards; Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton meet up to negotiate and discuss terms of surrender, then Ramsay gets the bonafide laughter he is known for and goes; “I am a man of mercy.” Jon Snow.

Sansa Stark, who has dutifully come to back up her half-brother, having lived with the sly master “Ransay” in a while already knew by then that her brother “Rickon Stark” would not make it out alive; rethinking that process, she makes a face familiar to that of someone who has got it all figured out and says; “You’re going to die tomorrow, Lord Bolton” and she rides off.

Back in the battle field, Jon’s army meets Ramsay’s on the battlefield. Ramsay brings out Rickon Stark, frees him and have him run back to Jon, while he, ‘Ramsay’ shoots arrows at him. But we all knew the sly man wasn’t going to let down his guts just yet, not now, not ever. His last shot brought the young lad down to his feet, and that was it, he died. As things progressed in the battle, we see a die hard Jon Snow getting buried by corpses piled up all around him on the ground, but then again, the scene ends at revealing a Jon Snow who doesn’t just win a battle but in this case, has apparently and effectively won a battle against the entire dramatic apparatus of the TV show he has long lived in.

Wun Wun shares this honour as well as we see the giant throwing around some of Ramsay’s forces, tearing them up like a piece of meat and finally having the giant succumb to death through many poisonous arrows from Ramsay’s camp. We would admit that Wun Wun was a gigantic hero on whose shoulders the weight of the battle rested on a little longer. Tormund on the other end, is taking a nice big bite of an enemy’s throat and gradually sliding towards victory with Jon.

Finally, Sansa emerges with the Arryn army tramples the Bolton army, and Ramsay and his goons retreat to Winterfell.

Now, anybody who’s read a story before would likely realize that Jon was going to come out on top of the match up, but it is easy to say that Jon also earned his win. Yeah, he was saved at the last minute by his half-sister and Littlefinger, but he kept his troops rallied, even when they were surrounded on all sides by men with shields who were slowly killing all of them.

Meanwhile, the character of “Ramsay Bolton” is the “Game of Thrones” itself, in a nutshell. He’s like the heart of the plot turned into a person. Nasty, brutish, and willing to kill just about anyone to make a point. The young tyrant didn’t live to see his craft succeed this time although he ended up killing young Stark Rickon.

So Ramsay ultimately finds himself the final victim of his own sadism. Rather than face trial and execution, he’s gobbled to bits by the beasts he bred to gobble people to bits, which are unleashed upon him by the woman he raped and assaulted endlessly.

Let’s not forget Daenerys Targaryen, the way she plays her games as always. She summons her three enormous DRAGONS to spit all-consuming flames all over their enemies. Two of our glamorously eyelined Masters get their heads chopped off by Grey Worm while Tyrion Lannister and Lady interpreter watch as the third was allowed to return home and warn everyone not to fuck with Daenerys Stormborn. Because that warning has stuck so well up til now.

For what it is, Yara Greyjoy and Theon Greyjoy seem to have joined Daenerys mother of dragons’ quest to recover the seven kingdoms.

Should i say RIP to Rickon just yet? What if the magic woman revives and brings him back to life just like Jon Snow? But then who wouldn’t willingly say RIP to the  SHAGGYDOG master, Ramsay? I wonder. Anyways, glad to know that there won’t be dog barks and tearing anymore.
