Cold Stone Creamery Nigeria dedicated an ice cream flavor to the the movie, Banana Island Ghost. The ‘Banana Island Ghost’ flavor is a mixture of sweet cream, banana, cinnamon and a crunch of Graham Pie Crust.

“The blend is fully inspired by the movie,” says Amalia Sebakunzi, Marketing Director, Cold Stone Creamery Nigeria at the mini ice-cream party held at the Cold Stone Creamery outlet in the Ikeja City Mall on Friday to announce the new product. “It is made of Banana base because of the Banana in the title of the movie. The flavour was called Banana Island Ghost. We tried several things. We had a lot of tasting sessions, we worked on it and our team came up with the idea of the cinnamon and the crunch. The cinnamon is for the spiciness while the crunch is for all the action in the movie.”

Sebakunzi says the B.I.G flavour is expected to be on sale till September in all Cold Stone outlets although this could be extended depending on customer’s demand.

“Cold Stone creamery is all about creating a delightful experience for our customers,” “Our stores are entertainment centres, which is exactly what the movie Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) guarantees to deliver, an entertaining cinematic experience from start to finish. We are very excited about this partnership and know that this new flavour will be an instant favourite on our menu,” adds Sebakunzi.

Guests at the party got to hang out and enjoy the tasty new flavour with stars from the movie including the lead cast, ‘Chigul’ Chioma Omeruah, Patrick Diabuah, Akah Nnani, Makida Moka, and the Executive Producer of the movie, Biola Alabi. The executive producer of B.I.G, Bola Alabi says the collaboration between her production company, BAM and Cold Stone signals the beginning of such partnerships between Nollywood and similar organisations.

“This partnership is a unique one,” says Alabi. “This kind of partnership is done all over the world. Cold Stone Creamery has distinguished itself by creating unique and entertaining experiences for their customers, as soon as you walk into any of their stores they put on a show for you. This is exactly what Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) the movie does, we give you a show from the minute you step into the cinema.”

In attendance at the party was the lead cast, ‘Chigul’ Chioma Omeruah with Patrick Diabuah, Akah Nnani, Makida Moka and Biola Alabi.
