Update: Demi Lovato Hospitalised For Narcotic Overdose
Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital for narcotic overdose on Tuesday, TMZ reports.
According to the report, law enforcement sources of the Los Angeles Police state that the unconscious singer was administered Narcan, an emergency drug for opioids.
The Los Angeles police say that they received a call around 11:40 am from her room after she lost consciousness. Authorities gather that there had been a party in her house before the event.
This is coming after she released a song titled Sober which contrary to its name, showed that she had relapsed.
The 25-year-old had been away from drugs and alcohol for six years.
Before this incident, the Grammy-nominated singer was billed to perform at Atlantic City this week.

Update: She is now responding to treatment. While most of her friends say that they did not see this breakdown coming, a few have stated otherwise. Police authorities say she will not be prosecuted because no drug was found on her and in her apartment.
