Davido Still Partisan. Meets With Atiku Abubakar
Award-winning Nigerian star Davido, real name David Adeleke recently visited the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flag bearer Atiku Abubakar. He was accompanied by his “assurance” Chioma Avril Rowland.
Davido performed at the PDP convention held in Portharcourt, Rivers state recently where Atiku emerged winner for the party in the presidential primaries.
The artist has been slammed by some Nigerians for being partisan while serving as a corp member saying that it goes against the rule of the National Youth Service Corp. But that has not deterred him from campaigning for his uncle who recently vied for the governorship seat in Osun state under the PDP and travelling out of the state he is supposedly serving in.
He posted a picture of himself, his girlfriend, Chioma and an unsmiling Atiku Abubakar on his Twitter account with the words, “Thank you for having us, sir.”
