In the wake of the MeToo campaign and #Surviving RKelly docuseries revelation, young women are finding their voices and are speaking out.

Chris Brown has become the latest artist to be charged with and arrested for alleged aggravated rape and narcotics offences.

This news has not been well received by the likes of Joyce Lucas.

TMZ suggests that he may have his French passport seized by the French authorities and would remain in Paris until the case is taken to court, which might last up to a year.

He will also be required to visit the police station every two weeks to show that he is still in France.

Trouble for Brown started when he and two members of his team allegedly raped her in Mandarin Oriental hotel between January 15 and 16. The Blast reveals that Brown maintains his innocence. While he agreed that he was at the hotel, he insists that he was not in the room when the incident occurred.

Sometime in May 2018, he was sued by a woman who claimed that she was raped in his home during a party.
