Cardi B on Thursday went off in an Instagram video over a school event in Brooklyn allegedly  halted by police.

The back-to-school occasion was set to be hosted by Star Brim, a friend of the “Money” singer and it was meant to be in collaboration with hip-hop star A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. They planned to help out children who have limited resources and live in poverty.

The event was scheduled to be held at a school in the neighborhood of Brownsville.

However, this event was shut down by the police. Cardi B claimed in her video that N.Y.C. police bullied the school’s principal, who is her friend, into shutting it down.

The rapper explained she already had the event in two different schools and things went smoothly. Cardi said:

“The NYPD decided to shut it down supposedly due to safety issues, safety concerns, which I don’t understand because I went to two different hoods — I went to two different projects and everybody was out.”

“I find that s–t so f—ked up by the NYPD … it’s like this is really for the kids; Shorty was really coming out her pockets, just to help the community, and it was for kids to have a fun, positive day. “

She goes further to state that the police lied because there were no signs of violence.

“There was no smoke, there was no issue, there was no beef. It was straight positive vibes only,” she said. “So I don’t understand how this, today, would be an issue”.

I just find that s—t so f—ked up. And f—k you and motherf—king suck a fart and suffocate on it. F….K you!.

Cardi B has always protested against police brutality and the use of the press to suppress the truth about brutality.

She is not a stranger to calling out people and organisations, too. In January 2019, Cardi B accused the sitting president, Trump of shutting down the government with his decisions.

The NYPD has not yet responded to Cardi’s profanity-laced accusations over the matter.
