“I’m giving you up”
Nigerian-American singer Ne-Yo (real name: Shaffer Chimere Smith) has confirmed that he and his wife of almost four years Crystal Smith have ended their marriage.

And for that, the 40-year-old hit-maker, he is releasing a divorce-inspired song that’s helping him cope with this massive change. Opening up about their split, he acknowledged that she is a “fantastic woman” and he will “always respect her.” He added, “We realize that our demons don’t mesh and until both of us get a hold of our personal demons, it’s gonna be just difficult for us to stay married.”

Theft in trying times

Admist the coronavirus scare that has plagued the world, thieves in Japan have made off with some 6,000 surgical masks from a hospital, with the country facing a mass shortage and a huge price hike online because of the coronavirus. At the moment, masks are sold out at many drugs and discount stores across the nation as the number of infections have increased in Japan. Meanwhile, reports have emerged on the origin of the coronavirus as some scientists have claimed that it is man-made and not from the Wuhan market as being widespread.

Killing “who” sha?

Following his Grammy Nomination, Burna Boy has become a bit more vocal, airing his thoughts on who is truly “killing them (everyone) sha.” The self-acclaimed “African Giant” who recently said that ‘he is the best Nigerian artiste after the legendary Fela’ and is solely behind his success may have gotten hit by fellow Grammy-nominated act, Seun Kuti, son of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. A closer look at Kuti’s Instagram post on a Grammy-nomination list shows that he may have had enough of the Burna Boy’s bragging and resorted to sarcasm on Burna’s disregard for the push from others.

The war continues

Olakunle Churchill’s relationship with actress Tonto Dikeh seemingly started off as a fairytale romance when they first started dating and in 2015, The duo got married. Two years later, the media was abuzz with their messy separation and subsequent divorce which lead to several rounds of unprintable names in the media.

In 2019, Tonto started her blog where she exposed damning issues and slammed Churchill as a cheat, an internet fraudster as well as a ritualist. Now, Churchill has made a comeback by slamming her with a N500 million lawsuit. According to him, her ‘malicious statements’ ruined his political ambition.
